SNSD and SHINee conquered Japan Tower Records Charts

Japan’s largest record store, Tower Records recenty released the ‘Best Sellers for 1st half of 2011′ charts. From the results released, SNSD topped the Kpop album chart while SHINee took the no.1 spot in the Singles category. SNSD’s ‘Mr.Taxi/Run Devil Run’ also made it to the top 5 in the Singles category where it attained the 4th spot. Here are the results:

SNL Japan parodies SNSD’s “MR. TAXI”

Back in May, tokyohive reported that Fuji TV was producing a Japanese version of the long-running American NBC variety show “Saturday Night Live” with Akashiya Sanma and Imada Koji as the hosts.

“Saturday Night Live JPN” most recent July 9th episode was filled with laughter as the male cast of the show donned female cab outfits and parodied SNSD’s hit track, “MR. TAXI“.
