SNSD’s Yoona left a long, heartfelt message for fans on her birthday.
On May 30th, Yoona sent a text message to fans through UFO town, stating, “To everyone who has always given me strength and encouragement^^ I truly thank you for congratulating me and sending me much love this year too.”
She added, “These days, I have been busy preparing for the Japanese tour~ The tour starts tomorrow, but my heart is pounding… I want to show everyone in Korea soon, too! Please look forward to us^^”.
Although she’s busy preparing for SNSD’s first Japanese arena tour, Yoona showed that she’s still thinking of all her fans both near and far. “Even in Japan, I always monitor congratulatory messages and love from fans in Korea!! keke You guys are the best!!”
She wrapped up her message with, “There are so many things I want to say, but I will send another message later..kekeke Please take care of your health, and since the weather is nice, enjoy each day with a joyful heart!! Thank you so much and I love you.^^”
SNSD will kick off their Japanese arena tour in Osaka on May 31st, before heading over to Tokyo, Saitama, Hiroshima, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. The girls will be performing a total of 14 concerts.
The girls from SNSD recently appeared on the show “Ousama no Brunch” to talk about their new album with reporter Marina.
The girls spoke some English and talked about the Mr. Taxi dance, the foods they want to try, and their favorite places in Japan so far.

Marina: Who’s the one that can speak the most?
Girls: It’s Sooyoung, she’s the best.
Marina: You can pretty much speak, then?
Sooyoung: Well, just everyday conversation.
Marina: Are you studying right now?
Sooyoung: Yes, everyone is doing their best to study hard.
Marina: It shows up in your songs as well, but Tiffany and Jessica can speak English, right?
Girls: Yes.

Marina: Thank you! But today we’d better speak in Japanese. This time, SNSD are releasing their first Japanese album on June 1st, congratulations!
Tiffany: The songs we’ve announced before, Gee, Genie, and Mr. Taxi are included, but there’s a lot of new songs this time as well. We’re challenging a new style as well, so we want everyone to hear it as soon as possible.
Marina: Is that – you brought it with you?
Sooyoung: This comes inside the box. Tiffany: It’s cute, right?
Marina: Mr. Taxi’s… like this? Teach me!
Sunny: You put your hands like you’re holding handles and bounce your body. That’s the key point. Sooyoung: There’s also a part with this kind of motion. This is… SNSD’s hypnotism.
Marina: Hypnotism?! What is that?
Sooyoung: SNSD hypnotism~
Marina: What kind of Japanese foods do the girls want to try?
Yuri: I want to eat takoyaki at Dotonbori in Osaka!
Marina: Have you eaten takoyaki before?
Yuri: Of course, I’ve eaten it in Korea as well.
Marina: Are there any memorable places that you’ve been to up until now?
Hyoyeon: Tokyo Disney Sea. Sooyoung: We went to Hokkaidou.
Marina:In your free time?
Sooyoung: Yes. The ramen was really delicious. And, when we went to Osaka… Jessica: It’s Osaka for me too! Sooyoung: There was a really beautiful river flowing in front of Osaka Castle Hall, so I want to try riding a boat there with the members. Girls: I wanna go! Sooyoung: Let’s go!
Seohyun: Everyone, finally SNSD’s first album will be released! From now on, we’ll work harder and harder, so please cheer us on! Sooyoung: Please come see us on our tour too!

The awesome people over at Korean Tourism Organisation and CTC Travel had specially arranged this trip for Singapore SONEs to show their support for SNSD at the girls’ 2nd Concert!
Brief itinerary
Day 1: SINGAPORE – SEOUL
A pleasant flight to Korea – Seoul, the gateway to Korea Pop. Meals provided on board.
Day 2: SEOUL
Proceeding to Chuncheon region to take a ferry ride to Nami Island. Korea drama “Winter Sonata” had its filming on this beautiful island. After which, we will drive to city of Chuncheon to visit the famous Myeongdong Shopping Street and be treated to the local speciality – Chuncheon Hotplate Chicken. Meals will be provided on board & Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: SEOUL
Learn the art of Kimchi making. Thereafter, we will proceed for a 40min skin care course and then to the Beauty Product Showroom to purchase some of the famous Korean beauty product including Nature Republic. Next, proceed to the popular Myeongdong, Sinchon shopping street and Dongdamun for a good shopping therapy. End the day with a refreshing getaway at the Water Theme park. Only Breakfast will be provided.
Day 4: SEOUL
Today, get yourself ready to enjoy the first concert for SNSD 2011 Asia tour at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. The whole day will be for you to prepare and immerse in the SNSD atmosphere. No meals will be provided.
DAY 5: SEOUL – Free Day
Free and Easy day! Free to explore Seoul with more shopping awaiting at the other rich fashionable shopping enclaves in Seoul such as Apgujeong, Cheongdam or Itaewon. No meals will be provided.
Day 6: SEOUL – SINGAPORE
Make a last minute shopping stop at the Korean Ginseng showroom, the Amethyst factory and the local supermarket. Then proceed to Incheon airport to prepare for departure back to Singapore. Breakfast will be provided, as well as meal on Board.

2PM Nichkhun and SNSD Seohyun are respectively voted to be 1st and 2nd of the most want to meet idols on bus.
From May 7th to May 24th, 498 participants joined the vote of "the most want to meet idol on bus?". According to the survey, Nichkhun gets 1st with 174 votes, 34.9% of total. And SNSD Seohyun comes behind with 162 votes, 32.5% of total.
Nichkhun tops the vote with his inborn qualities that can catch girls' hearts on bus, such as girly bright smile and eyes, clean and white skin and teeth, the fittest uniform and the best body.
