Recently, music portal, Bugs! conducted a survey entitled ‘Who seems to be the most suitable singer to put on a graduation hat?‘. The survey was conducted from February 8th to February 21st involving 2,552 participants. From the result of the survey, Seohyun took the 1st spot with 47% (1,183 votes).

Meanwhile, IU came in 2nd with 20% of total votes. Seohyun and IU both received such huge support due to their ‘highly-disciplined image’ which can be seen on TV shows. Lee Teuk of Super Junior came in 3rd with 13% while Tablo in 4th with 11%. Suzy of miss A took the 5th spot, followed by 2PM’s Taecyeon with 2%.

As the new academic season is starting soon, Bugs! is conducting another survey entitled ‘Which singers seem to be the most suitable class monitor?‘. The survey is currently underway with Taeyeon and G-Dragon both in contention to top the survey.

'Dream High' parody features SNSD members and Lee Soo Man

SNSD’s netizen-made parody of KBS 2TV’s drama ‘Dream High’ entitled ‘Dream Soshi’ had recently surfaced and shared on the Internet. In the parody, the faces of SNSD members were being superimposed to replace the faces of the actual actors and actresses.

The characters picked for each SNSD members were based on their respective personalities and the netizen’s impressions. Here is the list of the cast for the parody:

SNSD chosen as Korea's no.1 Power Celebrity on Forbes Korea

SNSD were chosen as Korea’s no.1 Power Celebrity on Forbes Korea this year. Figure-skating queen, Kim YunA who topped the list for 2 years in a row was placed 3rd this year while Manchester United winger and former captain of the Korean football team, Park Jisung came in 2nd.

The Top 40 list was revealed in conjunction with the 8th anniversary of Forbes Korea’s founding. In determining the ranking, appearances on news articles, TV advertisements, Internet searches, etc are some of the major criteria. Besides the overall ranking, there are also top 40 rankings based on ‘Sales’, ‘Media’, ‘Broadcast’ and ‘Activities’. SNSD were ranked 2nd for ‘Sales’ and ‘Media’, 3rd for ‘Broadcast’ and 1st for ‘Activities’.

SNSD had a tremendous success last year in terms of music sales where they recorded a massive 270,000 copies on Hanteo Chart.

Middle and high school students studying SNSD?

Girl group SNSD has expanded into textbooks.

Recently, it was revealed through an online community website that SNSD was in a 2nd-year middle school music textbook – gathering much attention from fans and netizens.

The textbook contained a photo from SNSD’s promotional “HaHaHa Song“. Also, netizens were really interested to find out that SNSD were also published in a 1st-year high school textbook.

They commented, “The music textbooks these days have gotten a lot better from when I used them”, “Does this mean SNSD’s musicality is being recognized?”, “This is totally awesome! A textbook like that is worth studying”, and “Definitely, right now is Girl’s Generation!”

Yonghwa & Seohyun reveal a photo from their wedding photoshoot

Last week, fans of the ’sweet potato’ couple were in ecstasy after seeing some footage fromSeohyun and Yonghwa’s wedding photoshoot. Though it was only a preview, the explosive interest it garnered inspired the producers of “We Got Married” to unveil a single photo ahead of the episode’s broadcast.

Producers commented that their wedding photoshoot was done under the concept of ‘their history’, which brought out sensitive emotions between the two as they reflected back to the memories they’ve created together.

It’s said that upon seeing Seohyun in a pure-white wedding dress, Yonghwa’s jaw dropped to the floor at her angelic beauty.
