SNSD set fire on the hearts of Korean men


On SBS TV’s “Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate”, SNSD graced the stage with awesome performances of “If You Seek Amy”, “Hoot”, “Oh!” and “Gee”. In between the performances, the girls had a short interview with the MC, Kim Jung Eun.
During the interview, Kim Jung Eun read out the answers from male celebrities for a survey entitled “To Korea Republic’s men, SNSD are ……….”
Haha’s answer was the first to be revealed. Haha’s answer was, “SNSD are liars and cruel idols. I told them my wish but they didn’t fulfill it”.
To this SNSD jokingly replied, “It says ‘We just want you to tell us your wish but we never said we would fulfill it”, which drew laughter from the audience.
Next, Kim Jongkook’s answer was read out. According to the muscular singer, SNSD are “arsonists” because the girls set fire on the hearts of Republic of Korea’s men.
After that, Kim Jung Eun read out the last answer from Gwangsu which sounded rather ‘strange’. It sounded like this – “Yuri-ah, did you eat? Eating is the most important for Yuri”.
Upon hearing this, Yuri wisely replied, “Gwangsu Oppa, please eat well too. Each of us here are eating well”.

Tiffany is burning with determination to get back on stage again


Tiffany who suffered a knee injury during a recent activity is eager to be back on stage again with her 8 sisters.
Wearing a pink cast on her entire left leg, Tiffany has been resting well and committed to the treatment of her injury. The cast is worn to reduce the movement on the injured portion and hence, accelerate the healing time.
Recently, one of Tiffany’s acquaintances said, “Tiffany is focusing fully on her treatment. Although 4 weeks of treatment and rest is required, she is determined to recover 2 weeks ahead of the estimated healing period because she is burning with passion and commitment to be on stage again”.

Girl Group SNSD member Sunny's sudden hair bob transformation are stirring curiosity from fans.

Sunny's dramatically short hairstyle appeared on the last 20th broadcast MBC “Music Core”.

Sunny on this day showed her long hair made into a wavy hairstyle transformation, emphasizing her as loving and cute

The transformation matched their single ‘Hoot’ activity, however Sunny's sudden hairstyle change is offering curiosity.

After the broadcast, netizens said “Sunny’s hairstyle fits her so well,” “Her long hairstyle was cute, but her bob hairstyle is cuter,” were such reactions. “Maybe Sunny has other activities planned?”, “Sunny looks different. But why all of a sudden?” “Maybe for Japan activities she changed. That’s a really nice blonde bob,” were some of the reactions.

SNSD, SHINee & f(x) model for 2011 calendars


SM Entertainment’s idol groups SNSD, SHINee, and f(x) recently modelled in various photoshoots for their respective 2011 calendars.

SNSD’s concept for the calendar was called, ‘Candid GIRLS with me’, in which the members posed naturally and expressed their friendly images.

SHINee’s calendar, titled ‘SHINee, Meeting Friends’, had the members dressed up in vintage outfits. Posing with special props, the photographers captured a classic yet unique atmosphere.

f(x)’s calendar, titled “Innocent f(x), Tainted with Nature”, dressed the girls in white outfits in order convey their innocent sides, while complementing them with colorful props.

The calendars are available in two formats – one for the desktop computer, and one to physically stick on the wall. The price has been determined for 15,000 Won ($13 USD) and can be purchased onGmarket from December 5th onwards.

2010 ‘Melon Music Awards’ Top 10 revealed!


The ‘Top 10′ list for the ‘2010 Melon Music Awards‘ has finally been revealed after an aggressive voting ‘battle royale’ between the nominees. The ‘Melon Music Awards’ opened up its first round of votes on November 11th, which allowed users to submit their nominations for the ‘Artist of the Year’ award.

Wrapping up on the 21st, the ‘top 10′ artists have been determined as follows:

  • 2PM
  • SNSD
  • CNBLUE
  • IU
  • Lee Seung Gi
  • T-ara

  • 4MEN

The second round of votes has just begun, so users start voting at ‘www.melon.com’ now. The winner will be determined by a combination of votes (20%) and digital album sales (80%).

Kim Jong Kook thinks SNSD are arsonists?


Kim Jong Kook caught the attention of many for calling the members of SNSD ‘arsonists’ on the November 22nd episode of “Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate“.

MC Kim Jung Eun held a corner where she revealed the survey results of the question, “To the men of Korea, SNSD is ___.

Haha replied, “SNSD are lying children. They told me to tell them my wish but they won’t make it come true.” SNSD retorted, “We asked people to tell us their wishes but we never said we’d answer them!

Kim Jong Kook replied, “SNSD are arsonists. They set fire to the hearts of Korean men.

Actor Lee Kwang Soo, who revealed on ‘Running Man‘ that he was a big fan of Yuri’s, expressed, “Yuri, have you eaten? Yuri eating is the most important to me.” Yuri replied, “Kwang Soo oppa, please eat well too. We are all eating well.

The episode, which obtained a high rating of 5.1% for its timeslot, also consisted of SNSD’s performances of “Hoot,” “Gee,” “Mistake,” “Oh!“, and “If You Seek Amy.


SNSD, SHINee & f(x) for 2011 calendars


SHINee, Girls' Generation and f(x) will be releasing a star calendar, showing their different types of styles. This is something that fans of them should definitely not miss!

For SHINee's calendar, it is themed "SHINee meets friends", showing a classical, unique style with the boys in vintage clothing and special props related to members episodes.


For SNSD's Calendar, themed "Candid GIRLS with me", showing a natural style while the members express their friendly images.

For f(x)'s calendar, themed "Innocent f(x), Tained with nature", showing the girls in an "innocent way" with white outfits and colourful props.


The Star Calendar would be available in 2 types, 1 for putting on your desk & 1 for hanging on the wall.
The price for each is 15,000 Won. It can be bought only at G Market (www.gmarket.co.kr) and Auction (www.auction.co.kr), and the reservation starts from Nov. 23 through Dec. 5. It will be shipped from Dec. 10.

Those who make reservations will have a chance to be picked to receive a calendar with autographs (90 people in total). And those who buy calendars will be given a mini-calendar (3,000 people) and postcards (60,000 people) in the order of purchase. The announcement will be made on Dec. 13.

There will be an application calendar for smart phone users too.
